We believe that the more people know about where they live, the more deeply they’ll care about it. And a loved place grows and thrives. We're playing our little role to fuel that love — one email, post, and event at a time.
We’ve been off to the races since our first issue went out on August 31, 2023.
Each step of the way, we strive to create better content for our readers, results for our partners, and experiences for our members.
Note From Founder
👋 Hey, I’m Massimilano “Max” Carone! I grew up in Kettering and graduated from Wright State University. The Miami Valley has always been home, and I was raised with a deep appreciation for its history and potential.
After years in sales and marketing, I felt the pull to build something meaningful right here in my backyard — a sustainable business that could positively impact our community. Thus, Miami Valley Memo was born.
We have an exciting journey ahead, and I’m grateful to share it with our readers, members, and partners.
